It Must Be Love

My inspiration for this original painting is Durdle Door, a rocky outcrop on the south Dorset coast. I wanted to use a more realistic and muted palette which I felt best suited the composition. The painted image continues around the edges of the canvas. With gold metallic acrylic applied to highlights to give the painting added depth under subdued lighting.
